Why is this just about the USA? There is a whole world outside the united states. Infact 95% of the world population lives outside the USA. All the first page says is that the authors have a very selfish, insular POV. Not something I want to be part of 184.108.40.206 13:02, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
- It's just because no one has started work on other areas yet. There's no reason you can't add those though. No one is saying the wiki must be about only the USA. Angela (talk) 07:17, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
I don't understand why this is just duplicating the WikiCongress wiki. Democracy is a far broader topic than simply proposing new legislation in the US. Couldn't this content be kept at WikiCongress and expand the scope of this wiki to include information on the various Democrat parties around the world and initiatives like the World Democracy chats? - Not to mention there already is one that has over 100 articles. Check out the demosphere.net wiki. We are starting to work on some very big things there. For starters we are building a comprehensive listing of related projects which you can help build and maintain. Also be sure to check out our forums @ http://www.demosphere.net.
Why does talk of democracy have to be specific to the USA? A bit of rhetoric there; I find it offensive and furthering a blatant untruth.
Thanks for having corrected my mistake on your main page, Angela. For the USA stuff, I am not from the USA, and I see this project has a good one, it could give ideas for citizen from other counties to have similar wiki to discuss on their own countries specific problems.
